Alpaca!

[ alpaca ]Well, this is sortof old news but I’m still excited that the northwest is just chock full of alpaca! There are small herds scattered about and even just across town at the OSU animal yards. Of course all my excitement is somewhat dulled upon hearing rumor that certain close friends back in Bloomington Indiana have acquired an alpaca farm without telling me. Thats ok, though, because other rumors say that Midwest alpaca like to spit more at their human companions… heh, heh, heh. Spitting aside, how can one not fall in love with the fuzzy face of an alpaca?

    Thought you’d like to know that we recently recieved a cap for our baby-to-be made of Alpaca wool. Even though it is kind of cone head shaped I can’t wait to see if he likes it or not.
