Of course I probably could have written about half a Harry Potter book in the time it took me to put that image together. Oh well, I hadn't logged in any good Gimp time recently anyway.

Just Do It! Hope Nike doesn't come after me for that one. Seriously though it looks like a blast! One question is what happens to the bike?

Hmm, roughly two inches, it should take about three days? Seriously looks like quite an adventure. Who's the other person in the canoe?

Topher: As alluded to in a recent post, my bicycle and trailer kit nicely folds up into its suitcase which can then easily be mailed home. Likewise, I have my eyes on either a folding canoe or kayak which would be mailed ahead for the 3rd leg of the trip.

Katie: For me the real beauty is eliminating motorized transportation from the trip. (Ignoring the mailings mentioned above of course)

Lady Claudia: Though all three legs would be fun on their own, I think linking them all together in the same trip would make the sum much greater than than the whole. (Its great to see you lurking around here by the way. I'll do my best to bring my posts up to your elegant standard!)

Urban Locust: Two inches may be nothing for you, but I think my body would think otherwise after about 150 miles of biking, 300 some miles of hiking, and about 100 miles of paddling. Hmm, I'm not sure who number 2 is in the canoe. Watcha doin' this fall?
